Casual sandals or open-toe shoes are not suitable for hiking trails, which include loose rock gravel and deep volcanic sand - Trekking pole is recommended - Bring proper daywear for hiking and nightwear for camping as wind can be strong and some areas are highly exposed - Windbreakers are highly recommended
