Explore Wat Phnom, a Buddhist temple and the tallest religious structure at Phnom Penh which was built in 1373. It is 27 metres above the ground, on top of a small hill. Next, visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda which sits side by side. The Royal Palace is the abode of the king of Cambodia and his royal family. Ceremonial performances are held also at this palace. The Silver Pagoda has several buildings and gardens surrounded by a tall walled compound. Locals call it the Wat Preah Keo Morokat which means the temples of the Emerald Buddha. Its flooring has almost 5,000 tiles. The last stop will be at the National Museum, Cambodia's largest museum, where you will see traditional Khmer architecture, sculpture, and art. There are also magnificent pre and post Angkorian pieces in the museum. The museum was constructed between 1917 and 1924. After the tour, you will be brought back to the hotel.
